Incredible time-lapse images capture Thames Jubilee Pageant

Sunday's splendid pageant on the River Thames brought together 1,000 military vessels, canoes and barges, achieving a new world record for the largest parade of boats.

The waterborne homage to our Diamond Queen surpassed the previous record of 327 in Bremerhaven, Germany, last year, Guinness World Records said.

Billed as "the greatest show on earth", it was the most spectacular event of the Jubilee and the biggest nautical show seen in London for 350 years.
