In the promo, the judges are seen going about their supposed daily lives. Amanda is spotted in her dazzling gown backstage at a theatre, while show boss Simon Cowell is pictured in a high-rise office with a very British teapot.
Meanwhile, show newcomer Alesha Dixon is dancing at a Cuban bar, while David Walliams roams a Dickensian street as he films on the set of a period drama.
They then all receive a mystery call summoning them to a secret mission, prompting them to pull on their smartest outfits.
A show spokeswoman said the trailer was designed to "reflect a national mood of patriotism" ahead of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and Olympic celebrations.
The new series of BGT is to go up against BBC One's The Voice when they both start later in the month.
