Myleene puts on a brave face despite marriage woes as she hosts Jubilee celebrations in Hyde Park

Hosting a giant family Diamond Jubilee event in London just hours after news of her marriage split became public, Myleene Klass put a determinedly brave face on it.

Looking tanned and radiant in a form-fitting white dress, the 34-year-old’s smile shone through the gloomy weather as she joined impressionist Jon Culshaw on the stage at the Jubilee Festival in Hyde Park on Sunday – the same day newspaper reports revealed how her husband of six months, Graham Quinn, had left her.

Television and radio presenter Myleene and ex-bodyguard Graham have two daughters together – Ava, four, and one-year-old Hero – and were engaged for five years before marrying in a secret ceremony in October.

Sources close to the former Hear’Say star say it came out of the blue when Graham, 38, ended the relationship abruptly – on her birthday in April, reports suggested.

"Their wedding was the happiest day of her life but now it’s all over," the source confirmed. "Myleene had no idea Graham was going to leave her; she thought everything between them was great. It came as a massive shock and she’s heartbroken.

"The past months have been the hardest of her life – even two months later she is shocked at the sudden way he left."

The couple were together for 11 years, having first met when Graham was a bodyguard for classical pianist Myleene’s former pop band Hear’Say. They got engaged but their 2008 wedding was postponed when Myleene became pregnant with her eldest daughter Ava.

A spokesman for Myleene said on Sunday: "This is a private matter, and as such we ask that everyone respects Myleene’s privacy at this time."

One of her closest friends, fellow radio DJ and TV presenter Lauren Laverne, offered her support and encouraged others to rally round by tweeting: "Sending massive twitter love to my beautiful friend @klassMyleene today. Please do the same."
