It may come as little surprise that the ever superbly turned out Duchess of Cambridge easily triumphed in our most elegant woman competition, gaining a staggering 44% of our readers’ vote.
The stunning brunette showed off an array of fabulous outfits during the four-day celebrations.
But her standout look was undoubtedly the traffic-stopping red Alexander McQueen dress that she donned for the Thames Pageant.
In second place was the lady of the moment, Her Majesty, with 22% of the overall votes.
With her trusty aide and dresser Angela Kelly responsible for fashioning her lovely outfits, the monarch shone in some wonderful pieces including the stunning, Swarovski crystal-adorned silver and white dress and matching coat.
The outright winner of third place on the best dressed list was Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who has been showing off her fashion prowess recently.
During the festivities, she wowed in elegant and well put-together ensembles.
