Harry leaves King of Sprint trailing in his wake

06 MARCH 2012

It wasn't exactly forseen – the fastest man in the world being beaten by a VIP visitor to his training ground.

After all, he's grandson of the island's head of state, the Queen, and had just been awarded an honorary fellowship by the University of the West Indies where the Olympic hero has a track named in his honour.

He started off by instructing the royal in the techniques that helped him first out of the starting blocks in the Beijing games, then challenged him to a race.

Halfway through to the delight of the crowd Usain paused, allowing his guest to charge ahead.

As he raced the finish line, jubilant Harry beamed and raised his arms aloft.

Then the champion sportingly showed him his traditional victory dance.
