Colourful well-wishers help bid farewell to royal couple
25 MAY 2012
Some very colourful well-wishers helped Prince Charles and the Duchess or Cornwall wrap up their four-day tour of Canada.
The royal visitors were met by students in traditional dress as they dropped in on the First Nations University in Regina, Saskatchewan.
On the last day of their tour the heir had a private audience with Prime Minister Stephen Harper and joined Camilla for a concert by the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
Then the couple boarded a plane back to Britain, to be home in time for the Jubilee celebrations.
Charles and Camilla's trip has been a success in Canada, where interest in the monarchy has sharply risen following the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's romantic nuptials last year.
