Madness at the Palace as band to play on roof

01 JUNE 2012

Queen rocker Brian May playing God Save The Queen from the roof of Buckingham Palace was one of the most memorable moments of the Golden Jubilee.

And ten years on, organiser Gary Barlow hopes to go one better by putting a full band up there.

Eighties group Madness are expected to play their hit Our House to the royal family, 12,000 lucky members of the public and a worldwide audience.

Also playing at the Diamond Jubilee gig - although from the safety of the stage - are pop royalty Robbie WIlliams, Kylie Minogue, Elton John and Paul McCartney.
